Know Before You Go:

An easy, fully paved path; family-friendly and do-able in sneakers.
We highly recommend doing the full Harding Ice Field Trail which brings you much closer to the glacier at a higher vantage point.
Look out for signs along the way displaying the recession of Exit Glacier over the past 50 years.
In Oct-Nov, the road to the trailhead may be inaccessible due to snow.
The most enjoyable time to visit is May-Sept.
