Know Before You Go:

• Dog are welcome but small dogs may have difficulty with the steeper stair portions of the trail.

• Be sure to take the side trip up to Bridal Veil Falls.

• The lake is an excellent spot for swimming and SUPing.

• A great early season hike, this lake sits at lower elevation and tends to thaw earlier than others.

• The last mile of road to the trailhead is unpaved and has some potholes to avoid.

• This hike is extremely popular, even on a weekday in summer the lot fills quickly and the trail can get congested - arrive early.
