Know Before You Go:
- There is a pay station at the trailhead (cash only).
- An additional day-hike permit is required per person on weekends during peak season (Apr 24th - Jul 1) - these must be reserved ahead of time on recreation.gov.
- We recommend going counter-clockwise.
- An amazing place to see wildflowers during the spring and early summer - check AllTrails and blogs regularly to find out when the flowers are at their peak.
- Weekends tend to be extremely crowded but if you head to the trail a few hours before sunset on a weekday you will have a much more enjoyable experience.
