Know Before You Go:

• A great viewpoint to photograph the La Sal Mountains at sunset or some of the park’s named rock formations at sunrise.

• The light changes quickly so you'll want to arrive early and give yourself plenty of time to set up and scout your shots.

• One of the less crowded viewpoints in the park.

• Beginning in 2022 the park is implementing a ticketed entry system from April 3rd until October 3rd. Between the hours of 6am and 5pm all visitors must have a timed entry ticket acquired in advance. To make your reservations visit recreation.gov.
