Know Before You Go:

• No shuttle tickets are necessary to visit the Kolob Canyons.

• This area of the park receives far fewer visitors than the main section of the park.

• Choose this hike if you’re looking for more solitude.

• This trail is the first leg of the Trans-Zion hike; it can be done as a long day-hike or as a leisurely two-day backpacking trip.

• Book your campsite in advance; this can also be done as a long day-hike.

• Though this trail is typically accessible year round, occasional road closures do occur as a result of severe weather - be sure to check the NPS site for road status before you head out.
