Know Before You Go:

• The most popular destination inside the park; expect crowds here at every time of day.

• Sunset and sunrise are the best times to see interesting colors and light here. Make sure to bring a headlamp if you decide to hike up or down in the dark!

• Give yourself plenty of time to hike up and hang out at the top to enjoy the views in all directions.

• Some minor scrambling and walking along edges is required, so watch your step.

• Photos do not do this place justice; it is fully worth braving the crowds to see it for yourself!

• Beginning in 2022 the park is implementing a ticketed entry system from April 3rd until October 3rd. Between the hours of 6am and 5pm all visitors must have a timed entry ticket acquired in advance. To make your reservations visit recreation.gov.
