Know Before You Go:

• Purchase your pass or day-use fee before arriving at the trail.

• Starting in 2021 an additional Central Cascades Wilderness Permit is required for both Day and Overnight hikers from June-September - reservations can be made at recreation.gov.

• Watch for potholes on the last few miles of road to the parking lot.

• There is a slight, easy scramble down to the viewpoint for the lower falls.

• Try to arrive later in the day for the best light.
