Know Before You Go:

• There is an additional permit required for sunrise; it’s highly recommended but very popular so snag your permits ahead of time.

• Beautiful drive; take your time on the windy roads as there are cyclists and biking tours.

• Be sure to check out the Kalahaku Overlook nearby.

• If you have more time we also highly recommend hiking the Sliding Sands trail for more incredible views.
