• A permit in addition to your entrance fee is required for sunrise, highly recommended but very popular so snag your permits ahead of time.

• We recommend visiting this spot after seeing the Red Hill Overlook Summit first for a closer look at the craters.

• If you have more time we also highly recommend hiking the Sliding Sands trail nearby for more incredible views.
