Know Before You Go:

• This is otherwise known as the Vernal and Nevada Falls Trail; expect large crowds and start early! This is one of the most popular hikes in the entire park.

• Start clockwise to avoid descending the slippery stone stairs; return via the John Muir Trail.

• The waterfalls will be at their most impressive in late spring.

• It is called the Mist Trail for a reason, you will get wet as you pass the first falls!
