Know Before You Go:

• These dunes are a beautiful sunrise location!

• We recommend going early to avoid mid-day heat, however if you do go mid-day, expect the sand to be hot and wear covered shoes.

• Bring lots of water - walking in the dunes can be very tiring and slow going.

• This spot is a choose ‘your own adventure’ situation, you’ll get great views just a few steps from the parking lot, or you can walk out into the sand to get a closer look at some of the larger dunes closer to the mountains.
