Know Before You Go:
- As of 2021 only a portion of this viewpoint is accessible but you can still see the waterfall cascading directly into the ocean. 
- The entrance fee is cash only and there is a dropbox at the trailhead - alternatively, you can purchase a pass before arriving. 
- Waterfalls that cascade directly into the ocean are sometimes called Tidefalls and there are only three in the entire US. 
- This park experiences frequent closures due to wildfire and storm activity. Be sure to check the state park website for recent closures before heading out.
