Know Before You Go:

A beautiful drive through the higher elevations of the park, this road offers amazing views of Half Dome as you approach Glacier Point.
This road usually opens sometime at the end of May depending on the weather. Up-to-date conditions on road openings and closures can be found here.
Bathrooms can be found at several points along the road at various turnouts.
This road is now reopened following the rehabilitation project that took place in 2022 and 2023.
