Know Before You Go:

• There is a long dirt washboard road to trailhead.

• Purchase your pass or entrance fee before arriving.

• A very popular fire lookout with fantastic views of Mount Rainier.

• This is a great spot for sunrise or sunset.

• This is one of four fire lookouts you can hike to inside Mount Rainier NP.

• If you can’t find a parking spot at the trailhead you can park in the Mowich Lake lot several hundred yards further down the road.
