• Expect weekend crowds - this is one of the most popular spots in the North Cascades so plan to arrive early.

• If the lot is full when you arrive you can park along the highway and walk to the trailhead.

• Car camp in the parking lot at your own risk, we almost got a ticket!

• We recommend going clockwise to save your knees.

• This trail is a great place to see larches during the fall season.

• Purchase your pass or day-use fee before arriving.
