Know Before You Go:
- Certainly a must-do hike, this ridge trail brings you through a pine forest before opening up to expansive views of the Waihe'e valley and river.
- You’ll be able to spot the 260 ft Makamaka'ole Falls in the distance during your ascent.
- Trek carefully after a storm; this can be a very muddy, and therefore slippery, trail.
- We recommend bringing hiking poles for extra support.
