Signs at the trailhead kindly request that all visitors hike in a counter-clockwise direction.
The terrain is mostly sandy dirt and the trail can get quite muddy after heavy precipitation.
This trail is quite popular on weekends so best to arrive early or late in the day.
Bring sun and wind protection as the trail is quite exposed.
Dogs are welcome on a leash.
You will be sharing the trail with runners mountain bikers and horseback riders so stay alert!
