Know Before You Go:

• One of the most popular hikes in the Sawtooths - but you won't see many people once you pass the 2nd lake.

• We highly encourage you to hike past the first two lakes as the higher 4th and 5th lakes are stunning and you'll most likely have them all to yourself.

• Download your offline map before beginning so you don't get lost on the way to Bench Lakes 4 & 5. The trail is not maintained and can be hard to follow without help.

• Don't be discouraged by the climb, your efforts will be highly rewarded.

• Family friendly up to the second lake.
