Parts of this trail travel through burn area so exercise caution.
When you reach Roads End be sure to check out Muir Rock - a great place to soak your feet and have lunch before completing the return hike.
There are restrooms located at Roads End as well.
The road to the bottom of Kings Canyon typically opens for the season in late April - check the NPS site for up-to-date road conditions.
