Know Before You Go:

• Be aware of wildlife! Hikers experience many bear and rattlesnake sightings along this trail.

• Mist Falls makes an excellent turn around point if you'd like a shorter hike.

• This is a very popular trail so start early; once you pass Mist Falls the crowds will dwindle considerably.

• The road to the bottom of Kings Canyon typically opens for the season in late April - check the NPS site for road conditions and updates.
